12th International Conference for Multinationals
Trench Rossi Watanabe will host the 12th edition of the International Conference for Multinationals on August 30th, starting at 9 am, at its São Paulo office. During the in-person event, the main changes and trends in law shall be examined, bearing in mind the publication of the roadmap for Brazil´s ascension to the OECD. In Latin America, Peru and Argentina have also been invited to start the ascension process.
Speakers from Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Colombia and other countries will discuss the impacts to multinational companies operating in Brazil and Latin America of these changes and trends, such as foreign exchange flexibilization; the review of transfer pricing legislation; the improvement of the ESG corporate practices such as environment protection, biodiversity, integrity and governance; and the countries´ ability to combat unfair business practices such as cartels and internal and international corruption.
In the afternoon, six sessions will be held, with the participation of speakers from Latin America, the United States and Europe, on topics such as cybersecurity; alternative forms of dispute resolution; new financial investment structures, including funds backed in sustainable products and carbon credits; remote work under the international scope; relevant matters related to the globalization of start-ups; digital economy; and venture capital.
