Deadline for submission of the Annual Income Tax Declaration for individuals has been extended

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Brazilian Internal Revenue Service postponed the deadline for submission of the Annual Income Tax Return for individuals, regarding calendar year 2019, to June 30 2020, according to Normative Instruction 1,930 of April 1, 2020.

The Normative Instruction also provides for the extension of the date for automatic debit payment, which changes from April 10 to June 10, as well as the respective dates allowed for the automatic debit of the other installments, which are now understood between 11 June 30 June 2020, the last day of the deadline.

Finally, it was also waived the obligation to inform the number contained in the delivery receipt of the last declaration submitted, for the year of 2019, calendar year 2018.
