Trench Rossi Watanabe announces new partner and Antitrust head
Trench Rossi Watanabe, one of Brazil’s leading law firms, proudly announced the new head of its Antitrust and Competition Law practice: Paulo Casagrande. He has over 20 years of professional experience, both in the private and the public sectors.
With a Ph.D. in Economic Law from the University of Sao Paulo (USP) and a double master’s degree on the same subject from the University of Manchester, UK, and the University of Hamburg in Germany, Casagrande has served as general coordinator of the Secretariat of Economic Law (“SDE” in Portuguese) of the Ministry of Justice. Having worked for large international and Brazilian law firms, he became acquainted with several industries and acquired a sharp business mindset.
