Trench Rossi Watanabe announces Eduardo Herszkowicz as new partner of the Transactional group
Trench Rossi Watanabe has just announced the hiring of Eduardo Herszkowicz as partner of the Transactional group. The lawyer steps in to lead and develop the Investment Funds, Securitization and Asset Management area, as well as strengthen the Capital Markets group, following the strategy of constant growth of the Transactional practice.
Eduardo has more than 20 years of experience in the capital markets area, advising investment banks, asset managers, multilateral institutions and companies that typically raise funds in the capital market, in structuring investment funds, conducting public offerings of securities and analyzing complex issues involving the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM) and Brazilian Financial and Capital Markets Entities Association (ANBIMA) regulations. He has an outstanding performance in receivables securitization structures, notably in the financial, real estate and agribusiness markets, as well as in wealth and estate planning solutions through investment funds.
After starting his career at Trench Rossi Watanabe, as a M&A intern, Eduardo was an international associate at Arnold & Porter, in Washington, DC, and then joined the Capital Markets practice of Cescon Barrieu, a few months after its foundation. He was the partner responsible for the creation and development of the structured funds and securitization practice at the mentioned firm.
The new partner holds a law degree from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC – SP) and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Chicago Law School. He has been recognized for his work by the main international legal directories such as Chambers and Partners, The Legal 500 and Latin Lawyer 250.
With the hiring of Eduardo, the firm now has 55 partners.
