RECOGNITION ::: The Chambers Brazil: Contentious 2023
The Chambers Brazil: Contentious 2023 guide was recently launched, opening the 2023 cycle of Chambers and Partners Brazil. The publication provides an overview of the main players in the Brazilian legal market, with individual analyses of professionals and categories, namely: Contentious; Industries & Sectors; Regions; and Transactional.
In this cycle, Trench Rossi Watanabe has once again many reasons to be proud of. We were ranked in nine areas, as we were last year: Competition/Antitrust; Consumer Law; Dispute Resolution: Arbitration; Dispute Resolution: Litigation; Dispute Resolution: White-Collar Crime; Intellectual Property: Patents; Intellectual Property: Trademark, Copyright and Trade Secrets; Labor (The Elite); and Tax: Litigation (The Elite). In addition, we recorded a remarkable improvement in the ranking of lawyers, with a 36% increase — from 11 individual recognitions to 15, with 13 professionals.
These results have placed our firm in fifth position among the firms with the highest number of areas recognized. In terms of number of individual acknowledgements, we occupy the eighth position. The other guides will be released in June (Industries & Sectors and Regions) and October (Transactional).
