Matheus Augusto Batista joined the Firm in 2024. He integrates the International Trade and Antitrust practice group, with focus on access and market expansion strategies in Brazil and abroad. Matheus has extensive experience in Tax Consulting with solid experience in indirect tax reviews. He has led Tax Due Diligence and Compliance Review projects, especially in projects involving tax and customs aspects, as well as in consultancies involving tax planning and tax compliance. He also has robust knowledge in data analysis and modeling, using tools such as Excel, Power Query, Power BI, VBA and MySQL.
Academic Background
He holds a degree in Law from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, and is specializing in Tax and Customs Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais.
