Professional Experience
Marcos Vinicius Neder joined the Firm in 2011 as Partner. He coordinates the Tax practice group, with focus on tax litigation. He also supports clients in business tax consulting (national and international), taxation of reorganizations and acquisitions. He is the Head of Wealth Management area in the office. Marcos Vinicius Neder has a wide breadth of experience in national and international taxation.
He represents clients in the oil, mining, civil construction, commercial, services, cement, polymers, oil and gas, cosmetics, telecommunications, real estate development, food and financial institutions segments.

Academic Background
He graduated from Universidade do Distrito Federal with a degree in Law, from the Military Institute of Engineering (IME) in Civil Engineering and from Universidade Cândido Mendes in Economics. He is also post-graduated in Comparative Tax Policy and Administration from Harvard University (Kennedy School of Government, Cambridge, USA); post-graduated in International Taxation (English title: Taxation) from Japan International Corporation Agency (JICA), in Tokio, Japan; post-graduated in Auditing (English title: Computer Audit) from University of Waterloo, Canada; post-graduated in Financial Fraud from the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, Internal Revenue Service – IRF, USA, and he holds a master’s degree in Tax Law from the Pontifícia Universidade Católia São Paulo – PUC and a PhD in Tax Law from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica São Paulo – PUC.
Activities outside the office
Marcos Vinicius Neder is a Professor in the post-graduate courses of the Brazilian Institute of Tax Law (IBET) and a Professor of the Master in International Taxation of the Brazilian Institute of Tax Law (IBDT). He is Councilor of the Conselho Superior de Altos Estudos Jurídicos [Superior Council of Senior Legal Studies] (Conjur) of FIESP, Councilor of the Conselho de Altos Estudos de Finanças e Tributação (CAEFT) – the Associação Comercial de São Paulo and Member of the IASP Tax Law Commission.
