Professional Experience
Déborah de Sousa e Castro Melo joined the Firm in 2023, When she became a senior lawyer. She integrates the Competition and international trade practice group, with focus on international trade. Déborah Melo has a wide breadth of experience in trade remedies investigations, in addition to other international trade related themes, as well as competition matters.

Déborah Melo has been recognized for his/ her work in International Trade by the main legal directories such as Chambers, Legal 500 and Análise Advocacia.
Academic Background
She holds a law degree from the Federal University of Uberlândia, a master’s degree in international trade law from the USP Faculty of Law and a doctorate in the same area, also from the USP Faculty of Law.
Activities outside the office
In addition, Déborah Melo acts as an invited speaker at events and courses related to international law, in addition to being the coordinator of the International trade working group of the Women Inside Trade network.
