Professional Experience
Ana Beatriz de Souza Reis joined the Firm in 2021. She integrates the Corporate Criminal Law practice group, with focus on the defense of companies, directors and shareholders in police investigations and criminal proceedings related to crimes occurred inside the company and against the company. As a criminal attorney, Ana has a wide breadth of experience in cases involving corruption, tax evasion, competition disloyalty, money laundering, crimes against public health, among others. She also has a solid understanding about compliance and investigations.
Academic Background
She graduated from Pontificia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC – SP) with a degree in law and she is a postgraduate student in Economic Criminal Law at Fundação Getúlio Vargas de São Paulo (FGV-SP).
Activities outside the office
Ana is an attorney member of Women’s White Collar Defense Association, founded in 1999 in the United States of America, and also a member of the Brazilian Institute of Criminal Sciences – IBCCrim.

Co-author of articles published in newspapers and scientific magazines, such as “Compliance and human rights“, published in Estadão e Jota Info, two famous Brazilian newspapers, and “Should criminal law prohibit fake news diffusion?“, published in the Boletim do Instituto Brasileiro de Ciências (IBCCrim), a qualified scientific magazine.
