The Office
Corporate Social Responsibility
Trench Rossi Watanabe is considered one of the most prestigious law firms in Brazil, in addition to being recognized inside and outside the legal market for its strong commitment to social change. We are committed to corporate social responsibility and support causes that are important to us, such as the promotion of social mobility, but also the responsible impact on our entire network.
Our Social Responsibility Committee was established more than 10 years ago, and through it we develop pro bono work and actions aimed at diversity, equality, inclusion, social mobility, volunteering and sustainability, on top of our support for socio-cultural projects.
We work with non-governmental organizations and clients to maximize the impact and reach of our actions. We believe that participation in this movement is key to building a better future.
We are proud of the many awards we have received, such as the Pro Bono Leading Lights seal from Latin Lawyer, one of the most important legal publications in Latin America, for the solidity of our actions, the organization of our Pro Bono Committee, and the impact we make in society. We also have numerous other awards listed on our page dedicated to Move, our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Program.

Sustainability
Through our Environmental Responsibility Committee, we implement sustainable practices in our day-to-day operations and monitor and mitigate the impacts of our activities. We continually work to minimize the impact of our daily activities and protect the planet’s resources. In addition to regularly promoting tree planting and internal campaigns to raise awareness among our clients, we have implemented several initiatives, such as replacing our disposable cups and bottles with glass bottles and cups, introducing selective collection in our four offices, and reducing paper consumption. Our offices in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro have been completely renovated to high sustainability standards by, for example, using natural light, smart lighting and climate control. In addition, the São Paulo office is LEED certified.
Institutional Support
It makes us proud to contribute to initiatives like this, which underscores our commitment to a more equitable and inclusive country. We are currently a partner in five initiatives supported by Tax Incentive Legislation.
Sport & Education Institute
We have been supporting Instituto Esporte & Educação (IEE) since 2015. Founded by Olympic medalist Ana Moser, the institute aims to promote the culture of sports and bring educational sports methods to low-income communities. To promote sports culture, the institute has set up socio-educational sports centers that directly support children and young people.
Dorina Nowill Foundation
Founded in 1946, the Foundation works for the visually impaired through the production of affordable spoken and digital braille books distributed throughout the country. It also offers specialized attendance, rehabilitation and employability services. We fund the Brincando e Incluindo (Playing and Including) project, which contributes to the development of autonomy and protagonism among visually impaired elementary school children enrolled in municipal schools in São Paulo through playful interactions and accessible resources.
Pequeno Príncipe Hospital
We have been supporting the hospital for seven years now. Located in Curitiba, Pequeno Príncipe (in English, Little Prince) is the largest pediatric hospital in Brazil. With 32 medical specialties of medium and high complexity in pediatrics, it also stands out for its technical-scientific excellence and humanized care. The organ is an integrated diagnostic and treatment center. Children and adolescents who need the institution’s services also avail of exams and specialties, as well as complex surgeries and care in units of intensive therapy.
MASP
We are one of the supporting institutions of the São Paulo Museum of Art (MASP), reinforcing our commitment to culture in the country. We prioritize exhibitions that value diversity, preferably supporting artists who are from minority groups.
Hospital de Amor
We sponsored the project Amparo ao Idoso (Support to the Elderly), which provides total dedication to patients in the Hospital de Amor units who are more than 60 years old, covering the treatment itself and continuous development of multidisciplinary activities.
Pro Bono
For the third consecutive year, we have been recognized by the Pro Bono Leading Lights of Latin Lawyer, one of the most important legal publications in Latin America, for the solidity of our actions, the organization of our Pro Bono Committee, and the impact we make in society.
