Professional Experience
Isabelle Ruiz Guero joined the firm in 2024. She is a member of the firm’s Competition and International Trade practice group, with focus on international trade. Isabelle has extensive experience in a wide range of remedies investigations, in addition to other international trade-related themes, as well as customs matters.
Academic background
Graduated from Mackenzie University with a law degree and is currently in the postgraduation program of International Law, with an emphasis on International Trade, at the Ribeirão Preto Law School of the University of São Paulo (USP/RP).
Academic Activities / Lectures
Isabelle Guero was awarded a merit-based scholarship to the “WTO and U.S. Trade Law and Policy Summer Program” at the American University Washington College of Law in 2021, and is certified in customs matters by Aduaneiras and in various international trade courses by ESPM.
She also contributed to Tradelab in 2022, an International Economic Law Clinic.
Isabelle acted as communication assistant of the Women Inside Trade network from 2019 to 2023.
