Trench Rossi Watanabe Salary Transparency Report
2nd half of 2024
On 1 April 2024, the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE) launched the first version of the Wage Transparency Report Panel, an initiative in line with the policy of equal pay for women and men, according to Federal Decree No. 11,795/2023. The MTE has implemented its own methodology for preparing these reports, based on data from eSocial and information provided by companies on the “Emprega Brasil Portal.”
In keeping with our commitment to transparency and the promotion of equality in our teams, we have made our report for the second half of 2024 available.
However, an analysis of the reports prepared by the MTE reveals that the indicators used do not fully reflect Trench Rossi Watanabe’s practices in relation to the remuneration of women and men, as they disregard aspects such as career paths and differences in the activities performed. The lack of clarity in the criteria used by the MTE makes it difficult to interpret the data, as isonomic criteria were not taken into account, such as length of service, specificity of functions, expertise, among others. In addition, the impact of the organization’s policies was not taken into account, compromising the reliability of the results.
Since it was founded, our office has valued a culture of plurality and has built its history on female protagonism, achieving gender equality and a high number of women in leadership positions. Our goal is to continue investing in the development of women’s careers, improving our processes and initiatives, and ensuring equal opportunities.
