Foreigners must individually apply for the eVisa directly through the website of the Brazilian Embassies, at which time they must fill in the online visa application form, submit the documentation required and provide proof of payment of the fee equivalent to USD 80.90. An invite letter will also be required for business related trips.
The entire procedure will be carried out electronically, including the issuing of the visa, and there is no need to appear in person at the Embassy.
The return of this visit visa requirement is based on the reciprocity principle – what had been eliminated during the Bolsonaro government to strengthen commercial relationships with these countries.
