The Office
Move
When we talk about diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I), we are always on the move!
We are always one step ahead when it comes to DE&I. Created more than 10 years ago, our DE&I Committee is recognized inside and outside the legal world for their work committed to social transformation and their initiatives that impact society, expanding opportunities and promoting social mobility.
Since 2016, we have worked with five affinity groups that make up Move, our DE&I program, focused on the themes of gender equity, LGBTQIA+, people with disabilities, ethnic-racial equality and religions. All groups are formed by our in-house team.
Move considers the intersectionality of topics linked to DE&I, raising the level of debates related to plurality and even more inclusive agendas.
Awards and recognition
We have been recognized for awards such as the Diversity Guide, from Exame Magazine, which we were awarded for three consecutive years (2019, 2020 and 2021), and Selo Municipal Direitos Humanos e Diversidade (Municipal Seal of Human Rights and Diversity) from São Paulo’s City Hall, also for three consecutive years. In 2019, we were recognized as one of the offices with the best practices in “Women,” “LGBTI” and “Race Equality” matters.
In 2020 and 2021, we were recognized in Transversalities, which summarizes the joint work between all the pillars of DE&I. In addition to all of these awards, in the 23rd edition of the renowned Latin Lawyer 250 guide, we were recognized as a firm that stands out for DE&I policies.
In addition to dealing with these initiatives internally, we believe that we can make a difference in our environment. Therefore, we maintain partnerships with bodies and entities, partners and customers through Move Unidos, our relationship program through diversity and inclusion.
