Professional Experience
Pietro Gaeta Petrone joined the Firm in 2017. He integrates the litigation in São Paulo of the Public Law practice group, with focus on lawsuits whose debate involves bidding, public concessions, regulatory law, improbity law, anti-corruption and administrative processes in general, mainly liability proceedings sets forth in the Anti-Corruption Law. He has experience in lawsuits involving civil and public law, representing clients in hearing, judgments and civil inquires.
Academic Background
He graduated from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie with a degree in law and is currently attending the specialization in Litigation (Civil Procedure) from Pontifícia Universidade Católica.
Representative matters and clients
Mr. Pietro represented clients from different industries in courts and before public agencies, including petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries, as well as companies in the software, medical equipment and devices, industrial gases and air charter markets. He also advised Bonded Portuary Facilities on the controversy over the collection of Terminal Handling Charge 2 by Port Operators (one of the main debates in the port industry in Brazil).
